Responsibilities

Develop a training information system for a DOD client. Training system will provide a common operational picture of the training environment in 5 integrated capability areas: Training Development, Training Management, Training Enterprise Scheduling, Learning Content Management, and Training Resource Management. These capabilities will enable the DOD client in planning and preparing for operational, institutional and self-development training.

Design, develop, and implement test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure reliability of systems in conjunction with system specifications and defined enterprise capabilities, and integrates system and enterprise elements together so they work as a whole.

Evaluate discrepancy reports to verify/validate incorporated fixes affecting systems and enterprise capabilities.

Ensure systems and enterprise capabilities comply with requirements and standards through formal verification methods.

Perform analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive system evaluation reports and risk assessments. 

Participate in writing/eliciting Epics and decomposing them into User Stories and creating acceptance test criteria for each user story.

Participate in the following meetings: Program Increment, Daily Stand-Up, Iteration Reviews, Retrospective and Backlog Refinement.

Qualifications

Education:

Requires 5 to 7 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.

Required:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have a Secret Clearance or to the ability to obtain and hold a Secret Clearance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Participated in Agile projects.
  • SAFe and/or DevOps implementation experience.
  • Experience testing large IT systems
  • Experience testing web-based applications.
  • Experience writing automated test scripts a plus.
  • Excellent editing skills in English.
