Perspecta is seeking a Information Assurance Engineer to provide JMOC Cybersecurity Analyst Support for ARCYBER.  In this role the contractor will provide cybersecurity analysis and support of Army Cyber Command for the Joint Mission Operations Center (JMOC) within NSA facilities at Fort Meade (FMMD) and in coordination with Fort Gordon (FGGA).

Responsibilities:

• This support includes hardware/software installations and upgrades; network support; and technical recommendations for future operations.
• Provides technical and programmatic IA support for network and information security systems. Designs, develops and implements security requirements.
• Prepares documentation from information obtained using accepted guidelines.
• Prepares Security Test and Evaluation plans and provides C&A support.
• Analyzes policies and procedures against established laws and regulations and provides recommendations for closing gaps.
• Develops and completes system security and contingency plans.
• Develops, tests, and integrates security tools.
• Conducts security program audits and develops solutions to lessen identified risks. Evaluates, develops and enhances security requirements, policy and tools.
• Performs vulnerability assessments including development of risk mitigation strategies.
• Provides technical and programmatic Information Assurance Services to internal and external customers in support of network and information security systems.
• Designs, develops and implements security requirements within an organization’s business processes.
• Prepares documentation from information obtained from customer using accepted guidelines such as RMF (Risk Management Framework).
• Prepares test plans.
• Provides assessment and authorization (A&A) support in the development of security and contingency plans and conducts complex risk and vulnerability assessments.
• Analyzes policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations and provides recommendations for closing gaps.
• Develops and completes system security plans and contingency plans.
• Recommends system enhancements to improve security deficiencies.
• Develops, tests and integrates computer and network security tools. Secures system configurations and installs security tools, scans systems in order to determine compliancy and report results and evaluates products and various aspects of system administration.
• Conducts security program audits and develops solutions to lessen identified risks.
• Develops strategies to comply with privacy, risk management, and e-authentication requirements.
• Provides information assurance support for the development and implementation of security architectures to meet new and evolving security requirements.
• Evaluates, develops and enhances security requirements, policy and tools.
• Provide assistance in computer incident investigations.
• Performs vulnerability assessments including development of risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with CI or FS Poly
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and enforcing security requirements.
• 5+ years of preparing Security Test and Evaluation plans.
• 5+ years of experience developing security plans and contingency plans.
• 5+ years of experience conducting security audits and developing mitigations to identified risks. Has conducted vulnerability assessments.
• Edu/Exp: HS +11-14 Years, BA/BA 5-10 Years, or MA/MS +3-6 Years.
• Requires DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.  Must load certifications in ATCTS.
• Work at Ft Meade, MD will have normal duty days/hours of M-F: 0800-1700.
