Talent Orchard LLC, a boutique workforce solutions company, has been engaged by a strategic solutions firm serving customers in the US Government to assist in their search to identify highly skilled talent for a brand new contract award supporting the DoD. We are currently seeking a Chief Enterprise Architect. This work will be performed in Omaha, NE.

Provides technical leadership, vision, and direction in implementing enterprise information technology practices.  Extensive solutions-oriented experience is needed with a comprehensive understanding of Cloud technology, Data Centers, Network Services, and Information Technology Customer Services to deliver unmatched business value to our customers.  Guides multidisciplinary teams through the development of complex solutions in a very fast-paced and demanding environment. Synthesizes strategic solutions to interdependent and broad problems for the solutions engineering team. Recommends Information Technology and cloud solutions/strategy by using technical breadth across multiple areas, and manages strategic alliances among partners/customers to promote adoption and interoperability of applications and infrastructure solutions in a Cloud Environment. Deliver best practices papers, tutorials, blog articles and technical project presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders. Drives partner advisory board initiatives. Identifies new product features and feature gaps, provide guidance on existing product issues, and collaborates with Solutions Architects/Systems Engineers in solution creation to influence the growth of the Cloud Platform.  Leads to cultural change for cloud adoption.  Works with vendors throughout the industry to evaluate upcoming products and determine their feasibility/value to the customer. Partners with the Engineering, Operations and Implementation staff to communicate the vision/future capabilities to support the customer. Mentors other team members. Reviews timeframes and budgets. 

Requirments 

• The candidate hired for this position must be a US Citizen with an active top-secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI
• Master's degree in computer engineering or related field, computer information systems, computer science, information technology, information science, information systems, or a related discipline
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with peers, brand leaders, and other senior management leaders
• Able to be a “big picture” thinker
• Experience with technology relative to industry such as; .Net, C#, SQL Server, Oracle DB, MongoDB, Solr, jQuery, Angular, AWS,  Azure, IIS, GitHub, Grunt/Gulp, Node.JS, Java/C
• Twelve or more years of relevant industry experience
• Intimate knowledge of systems architecture and operations
• Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills with the highest levels of management
• System integration (hardware, software, network, server, storage, virtualization and database)
• Research and development virtualization options for servers, networks, storage and client systems
• Demonstrated experience in developing system architectures and/or solution roadmaps
• Working knowledge of process frameworks such as ISO 20000 and ITIL is desired
• Desired Certifications such as:
• AWS or Azure Certifications
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) • Data Center Virtualization
• VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP
• CISSP
