Responsibilities
 

Support ARCYBER G3 Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) supporting Incident Management. (position 222)

Working as a SME, analyzes and evaluates software products and systems. Ensures systems comply with requirements and IA standards. Focuses on system/network cyber warfare attacks, techniques, and procedures. Provides analysis support for design reviews to ensure applicability to the current system and requirements traceability. Produces papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for the government. Mentors mid-level and junior staff.

Provides feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Working as an expert, conducts research and evaluates technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems. Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cybersecurity standards and practices through formal verification methods. Verifies/validates systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis. Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensure they verify/validate the requirements. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements. Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials.

Qualifications
 

Expert in Cyber Warfare techniques, methods, and processes.

Experience detecting, monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats.

Familiarity with CJCSM 6510.01B

Edu/Exp: HS 16+ Years, BA/BA 10+ Years, or MA/MS 8+ Years.

Shift schedule alignment is as follows: IM is 24X7 (except as noted below).

Between mid-February 2020 to no earlier than 8 June 2020, the core hours will reflect the operations officer duty hours which is 0530-2130.  Between mid-February 2020 to no earlier than 8 June 2020, the IM shift between 2130-0530 will be suspended. The expectation is that positions in support of this shift will be distributed to the day, swing, and weekend shifts.

Required DOD 8570 certifications: IAT Level II and CSSP- Analyst

Certifications must be registered in ATCTS.
