Perspecta is seeking to fill a critical role for Information Assurance Engineer supporting ARCYBER G3 Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) with Forensic and Malware Analysis (F&MA) as CSSP SME.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provides technical and programmatic IA support for network and information security systems. Designs, develops and implements security requirements. Prepares documentation from information obtained using accepted guidelines (e.g., DITSCAP, RMF, etc.).
  • Prepares Security Test and Evaluation plans and provides C&A support.
  • Analyzes policies and procedures against established laws and regulations and provides recommendations for closing gaps.
  • Develops and completes system security and contingency plans.
  • Develops, tests, and integrates security tools.
  • Conducts security program audits and develops solutions to lessen identified risks. Evaluates, develops and enhances security requirements, policy and tools.
  • Performs vulnerability assessments including development of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Mentors mid-level and junior staff. 
  • Provides technical and programmatic Information Assurance Services to internal and external customers in support of network and information security systems.
  • Designs, develops and implements security requirements within an organization’s business processes.
  • Prepares documentation from information obtained from customer using accepted guidelines such as RMF (Risk Management Framework).
  • Prepares test plans. Provides assessment and authorization (A&A) support in the development of security and contingency plans and conducts complex risk and vulnerability assessments. Analyzes policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations and provides recommendations for closing gaps.
  • Develops and completes system security plans and contingency plans.
  • Recommends system enhancements to improve security deficiencies.
  • Develops, tests and integrates computer and network security tools. Secures system configurations and installs security tools, scans systems in order to determine compliancy and report results and evaluates products and various aspects of system administration.
  • Conducts security program audits and develops solutions to lessen identified risks.
  • Develops strategies to comply with privacy, risk management, and e-authentication requirements.
  • Provides information assurance support for the development and implementation of security architectures to meet new and evolving security requirements.
  • Evaluates, develops and enhances security requirements, policy and tools.
  • Provide assistance in computer incident investigations.
  • Performs vulnerability assessments including development of risk mitigation strategies.


Qualifications
 

Required:

  • TS/SCI with CI or FS Poly
  • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and enforcing security requirements.
  • 10+ years of expertise preparing Security Test and Evaluation plans.
  • Has provided certification and accreditation support.
  • 10+ years of experience developing security plans and contingency plans.
  • 5+ years of developing, testing, and integrating security tools as well as configuring and installing the tools.
  • 5+ years of experience conducting security audits and developing mitigations to identified risks. 5+ years of experience conducting vulnerability assessments.
  • Edu/Exp: HS 16+ Years, BA/BA 10+ Years, or MA/MS 8+ Years.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, certification must be added to ATCTS.
  • Limited travel is expected in support of FM&A requirements.
  • Shift schedule alignment is as follows: F&MA is M-F, 16x5 (on call surge support).
