Talent Orchard, LLC has been contracted by a top defense firm in their search for a Systems Administrator II professional for opportunities in Fort Gordon, GA. 

Responsibilities
 

Provide personnel to conduct cybersecurity analysis and support of Army Cyber Command for the Joint Mission Operations Center (JMOC) within NSA facilities at Fort Gordon (FGGA) and in coordination with Fort Meade (FMMD).

Maintains systems and coordinates work activities with engineering staff and other service providers. Monitors and manages system resources to maintain system efficiency. Performs user access functions such as creating user profiles and accounts. In coordination with other support elements, supports system software/hardware maintenance and data backups. Support IA activities such as IAVA patching and STIG compliance.

Installs, supports, maintains and monitors IT Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure for reliability and uptime. Architects, designs, implements and maintains complex enterprise SANs and data backup recovery systems. In collaboration with other architecture and engineering teams(systems engineering, database administration, network operations and applications development), analyze and design enterprise storage systems used for customer data management, high transaction database processing and storage. Working with others, analyze and translate business requirements into a solution design for new installations or upgrades to existing platforms. Manages and provides operational support of data availability and retention systems such as server and SAN based backups and enterprise level backup solutions.

Qualifications
 

Experienced maintaining and supporting computer, monitoring and managing system resources, and performing security administration functions such as user profile and account access management. Skilled in maintaining system documentation, optimizing system performance, and installing software.

Edu/Exp: HS +11-14 Years, BA/BA 5-10 Years, or MA/MS +3-6 Years.

Requires DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security +CE, or SSCP).  Must register certificate in Army Training Certification Tracking System (ATCTS).

Work at Ft Gordon, GA will use expanded M-F hours from 0600-2200 (split between the shifts of 06001400 and 1400-2200) with the intent to expand workdays to 24x7 hours for select personnel.
