CLOUD INTEGRATION ENGINEER (AZURE & O365)

@Orchard LLC has been retained by one of our clients, a Federal Prime Contractor, to Find an experienced Senior Cloud Integration Engineer to provide expert support to a government customer in the Arlington, VA area. The Integration Engineer (IE) provides supports ongoing operations of Cloud Integration Services and project work for all systems supported by the program. Furthermore, the IE provides support for the clients Cloud Integration Services by delivering quality and comprehensive IT support to the agency in an effective and efficient manner with a vision to maintain IT operations commensurate with industry best practices, while ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical data.

Responsibilities & Duties performed are as follows:

• Design, plan and integrate Office365 based solutions using Microsoft best practices and modern deployment techniques such as DevOps and/or DevSecOps
• Perform Tier 1 through Tier 4 support and troubleshooting of O365 solutions
• Develop and conduct testing of O365 based solutions
• Develop automation scripts for efficient deployment and operations of O365 based solutions
• Design, plan, and integrate Azure-based solutions using infrastructure as code and modern cloud-native deployment techniques such as DevOps and/or DevSecOps
• Support Azure Account management and billing optimization
• Identify opportunities for optimization of Cloud / Azure environment
• Develop and conduct testing of Azure-based applications and solutions
• Develop automation scripts for efficient deployment and operations of Azure-based solutions
• Maintain technical expertise in relevant industry standards and best practices in Azure-based solutions
• Perform Tier 1 through Tier 4 support and troubleshooting of Azure solutions
• Provide testing and deployment support for integrated solutions designed by Lead Architect
• Evaluate and report on new Azure technologies and services to enhance the capabilities of services.

 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Demonstrates subject matter expertise in cloud integration engineering
• Microsoft Azure, 365 certifications preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Azure migration, DevOps, or administration
• 5+ years of experience with cloud automation and scripting
• 5+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure, or Cloud operations role
• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting with applications deployed in hybrid cloud environments
• Experience with multiple operating systems, including LINUX, UNIX, and Windows-based operating systems
• Experience with networking administration, including DNS, subnetting, and firewalls and ACLs
• Experience with Cloud Command-Line Interfaces and Cloud SDKs
• Experience with automated patch management for both Windows and UNIX-based systems using configuration management tools
• Experience with federated identity solutions in a cloud environment
• Experience integrating secure cloud configurations into on-premise SIEM
• Install operating systems and application software in cloud computing environments
• Experience monitoring cloud-based systems and components for availability, performance, reliability, security, and efficiency.
