On behalf of our Swiss client, a leading worldwide supplier of high performance engineering solutions, operating in various fields as Oil&GAS,Power Generation,Chemicals and etc., we are searching for:

Responsibilities:

•   Contribute substantially to strategic global digital projects

•   Drive digital transformation together with the external and internal team (including remote) and the relevant stakeholders

•   Act as internal technical counterpart for external and internal development partners/teams

•  Supervise and drive the migration of existing IT tools of the department, and the development of 3D CAE solutions for a strategic digital project

•   Bring the company's development teams up to speed with new development methodologies, share ideas, ensure and document best practices

•  Owner of the DevOps platform for the company’s tool developments

•  Act as internal SCRUM master

•  Act as mentor and coach for modern DevOps principles (no line managerial responsibilities)

•  Coordinate external and internal developments

•  Support development projects on demand

•  Support and coordinate testing of new versions/sprints

•  Report development progress on a regular basis

Required Skills & Knowledge:

•    Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or/and Engineering 
•    Strong team-player with good logical thinking 
•    Ability to code in different languages e.g. C#, F#, .Net etc. 
•    Experienced in Azure DevOps 
•    DevOps certification (min foundation level) 
•    SCRUM master certification 
•    5 years of experience in software/cloud architecture 
•    Experienced in CI/CD incl. automated testing 
•    Proactive, fast learner, reliable and detail focused 
•    Fluent in English, German would be an advantage 
•    Travel within Europe, approx. 10 - 15%

• You work independently, you are flexible and reliable, you identify yourself as
communicative  goal and team-oriented and you are willing to travel occasionally.

Work place: Zurich area, Switzerland 

We expect the flexibility and willingness to travel extensively, also at short notice. Candidates with valid permits from EU or Switzerland have first consideration.
