Communications Network Manager

@Orchard (formerly Talent Orchard) has been retained by a fast-growing Federal Contractor (Alaska Native) to recruit for three Communications Network Managers to support a very important client in Washington, DC. Owing to the nature of the work an active Top Secret clearance with a current SSBI is a requirement.

In your capacity as a Communications Network Manager you will;

• Evaluate communication hardware and software, troubleshoot LAN/MAN/WAN and other network-related problems, provide technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks.
• Perform general LAN/MAN/WAN administration, provide technical leadership in the integration and test of complex large-scale computer integrated networks.
• Schedule conversions and cutovers.
• Oversee network control center.
• Supervise maintenance of systems.
• Coordinate with all responsible users and sites.
• Supervise staff.

Your experience and education will include the following;

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Security + Certification
• Two plus years of relevant experience in the area of IT applications, configuration and/or systems support
• TS (SCI eligible) or TS/SCI clearance with the ability to receive a Yankee White within 180 days of contract start.
• Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the preceding 36 months
