Description

 

  • Develop, cultivate and penetrate target territory market by primarily bringing in new accounts supplemented by growing existing accounts
  • Follow and utilize company’s sales systems including Needs Assessment, Webinar/Demo, Proposal and Contract Generation in prospecting and closing your target prospects
  • Identify proper buying influence, correctly identify their service needs, the reasons they occur, and our solution to solve their challenges
  • Build and develop client relationships and referrals
  • Meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly activity, revenue, and gross profit objectives
  • Communicate effectively with Account Managers, inside sales team, operations, and other office personnel to ensure a consistent and effective delivery to the client
  • Record sales activities such as calls, demos, opportunities and contracts in the company’s CRM. Maintain account and contact information updated in the CRM.
  • Build an effective professional network by participating in organizations and events that foster these opportunities
  • Endeavor to grow personally and professionally by participating in industry and sales related seminars, workshops, and organizations
  • Be knowledgeable about inside office operations to contribute when in the best interest of the company
  • Complete and submit all report requirements
Required Skills


Three years successful outside sales experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience working with solutions for Logistics/Distribution/Telematics
Must be able to handle objections and rejection
Must be used to performing at high activity levels
Must understand and utilize consultative selling
Able to interact with clients to handle all issues under pressure
Well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player
Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
Intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and email software; Internet and research techniques is required
