Core Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking talented automotive designers for our satellite design studio located in downtown Los Angeles. By working closely with world-class chief designers, as well as your counterparts in Shenzhen and Shanghai, you will be responsible for:

• developing exterior designs for a variety of BYD automobiles and transportation solutions
• conducting research to support the development of BYD’s urban mobility strategy
• creating and developing next generation design philosophy, language and brand identity

Qualifications:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in transportation design, focus on exterior design development
• Strong creative ability, sketching, and visual communication skills.
• Expertise in 2D and 3D design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Autodesk Alias.
• Ability to handle multiple projects autonomously
• Ability to follow projects through from inception to final 3D visualization
• Open to international travel for training purposes.
• Demonstrated team player delivers results promptly and efficiently in fast-paced work environment
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
