We are currently looking for an Operations Assistant to join our team San Jose, California! 

The Operations Assistant assists the Operations Supervisor by maintaining eFUEL’s San Jose facility. This role is responsible for all aspects of yard maintenance, washing the fleet and fueling all company trucks daily, in preparation for each day’s scheduled routes.

• Fill up eFUEL trucks with diesel each day.
• Walk yard daily to ensure that the yard is free of trash and debris.
• Empty trash receptacles in yard, shop, and offices regularly.
• Clean driver room, offices, and restrooms daily. Make sure they are clean and orderly.
• Print Veeder Root tank inventory report to determine the fuel level of reserve tanks. Direct carrier to deliver fuel loads into appropriate tank.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers that visit the yard. Fill tanks for onsite customers and prepare receipts.
• Wash and wax trucks. Clean and vacuum the interior of trucks weekly.
• Proactively report any visible issues with the fleet to Operations Management (such as physical damage, leaks, etc.).
• Maintain landscaping on property, including sweeping up leaves and debris, and trimming hedges and trees.
• Managing environmental waste.
• Fuel equipment compliance, including inspection and maintaining logs.

• High school or technical school education and one year of fueling, operations, facilities maintenance or sanitation experience; or two years of fueling, operations, facilities maintenance or sanitation experience is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, be insurable, pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check.
