Key Responsibility:
Responsible for technical publication production processes including researching specs and drawings, creating content, coding work packages, military writing and editing conventions, and graphic standards is mandatory. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

The selected candidate will perform technical writing, editing and revising of Army Technical Manuals (TMs). The primary emphasis is on Army vehicle and watercraft TMs that describe the operation, maintenance and repair of Army equipment.
- This position requires working as part of a project team providing logistics support services in support of Technical Manual development.
- Ability to determine illustrations needed for publication and to develop rough sketches or photographic markups to assist the illustrator and excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Pro, XML editors (such as Arbor text Editor)
- Familiarity with Military Documentation Standards (MIL-STD-40051 and MIL_HDBK-1222C).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of Technical Writing, preferred direct experience writing/editing U.S. Army operation and maintenance documentation and supporting validation and verification is preferred
