Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Eye-Q Vision Care, a Fresno leading comprehensive eye care provider since 1956, is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join its team. This fast-paced position is responsible for supporting 200+ employees in an HR capacity. Duties include, but are not limited to HRIS and employee data administration, benefits administration, enrollment and benefits reconciliation, and participating in bi-weekly payroll processing and auditing. 

Successful candidate will possess the following qualifications OR any combination of knowledge, skills and experience demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the job:

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience with payroll/HRIS software. Paycom or Paychex experience desired;
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field of study;
• Track record of success in a fast-paced work environment;
• Extensive knowledge of California wage and hour laws;
• Effective organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure and high attention to detail.
