Are you ready for an opportunity that honors your skills as a Polysomnographic Technologist ?! We are currently looking for a  Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO. on a PRN /As Needed capacity.

Polysomnographic Technologist Registered Job Responsibilities:

• Performs patient centered care or service
• Performs diagnostic Polysomnography
• Maintains detailed log and chart findings
• Troubleshoots and adjusts equipment settings to provide quality recording of patient condition
• Performs intervention, fitting, adjustment, calibration and instruction for sleep apnea (CPAP, BiPAP)
• Recognizes and intervenes for cardiac arrhythmia, seizures and respiratory distress
• Develops knowledge of cardiac, respiratory and neurological diseases as pertaining to sleep disorders
• Perform Oxygen Therapy, Diagnostic, and other Therapeutic Procedures
• Understands and Practices Regulatory Agencies Requirements
• Demonstrates knowledge of equipment

Polysomnographic Technologist Registered Education and Job Requirements:

•  Current Colorado Respiratory Therapist License as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)  or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Registered as Polysomnographic Technologist through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) required 
• AAS degree in Respiratory Therapy through AMA approved school or recognized program of study by NBRC or Polysomongraphy program preferred
• Polysomnographic experience required
