We’re hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) in our IV Therapy unit to work full-time in Valdosta, Georgia. This full-time RN job will be a day shift position.

The Registered Nurse job in the IV Therapy unit consists of providing patient care for IV infusion patients. Also, the registered nurse will serve as a role model by actively participating in the process of continuous professional development, teaching and learning across the healthcare continuum.  Within this position the RN will provide specialized nursing care excellent customer service, critical care nursing by motivated, competent, and professional nursing staff. 

IV Therapy Nurse Job Requirements:

• Current RN license in State of Georgia required.

• Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) credential within 3 years.

• Two years previous nursing experience in the acute care setting preferred.

• Current CPR certification.

• Ability to lead, motivate and develop others individually and as a team.

• Ability to adapt to new situations, set priorities and utilize problem-solving techniques.

• Excellent verbal, written and behavioral communication skills.

• Ability to direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures, etc.

• Demonstrate current knowledge of patient care.

IV Therapy Nurse Job Responsibilities:

• Provides patient care related to infusion therapy and vascular access.

• Provides instruction to staff related to infusion therapy policies, standards and practices.

• Collaborates with Physicians related to vascular access care issues.
