Description

The main objective of the Program Manager role is to oversee the quality of our partner schools’ international student programs and to assist with student recruitment by being the market expert for all schools within his/her assigned region. The role is the front-line business and marketing manager for partner schools.  The role’s focus is on improving school marketing materials and supporting student recruitment efforts through participation in marketing/recruitment trips and events. The Program Manager will be responsible for communicating with the top decision makers at our partner schools regarding the direction and marketability of the program.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage partner schools’ relationships and provide consultation to develop strong international student programs, encourage enrollment best practices and promote effective marketing strategies.
  • Analyze and utilize data to support new student recruitment targets.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the international education industry and stay up-to-date on market trends.
  • Conduct in-person and remote trainings for internal and external parties related to policy, program marketability, industry trends and standards.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with partner schools and key personal. At times, develop relationships with Catholic dioceses.
  • Advise partner schools on international program stability and promote development by analyzing partnership for mutual growth opportunities. Pass potential up-sell and cross-sell leads to sales respectively.
  • Maintain accurate marketing information for partner schools. Collaborate with sales and marketing to generate promotional materials to highlight programs to customer base.
  • Aim to preserve partnerships and renew contracts on an as needed basis. Maintain updated partnership records.
  • Support student application process to partner schools. At times, conduct interviews with prospective students.
  • Serve as second level escalation for admissions and account management concerns.
  • Travel internationally annually to promote Cambridge and partner schools on recruitment trips.
  • Collaborate with internal operations team to resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively.
  • Serve on various internal committees for process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Background in the education industry, international business, international marketing or related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite and Database applications
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong presentation skills, with intermediate to expert level knowledge of presentation tools such as PowerPoint, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships at various levels
  • Demonstrated negotiations
  • Positive, strong work ethic and a record of educational and career success
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
  • A track record of managing client relationships and/or school admissions.
  • Understanding of international educational systems and markets
  • Knowledge of American private school industry
  • Prior experience working with international students within the US and/or experience living/travelling internationally
