Position Summary: The Program Manager will operationalize Community Outreach activities, manage the Community Outreach staff members and work with the Grants Manager to fulfill the requirements of grant affiliated programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Community Outreach
- Hire, train, supervise and manage the day-to-day performance of the Community Outreach staff.
- Responsible for maintaining and purchasing outreach and education materials.
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager and/or internal experts on program messaging and marketing materials, as necessary.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships within the community to promote awareness and build relationships that support the mission of providing accessible and affordable healthcare to underserved patients.
- Develop a shared Community Outreach calendar of scheduled activities and events.
- Prepare and maintain the Community Outreach budget.
Compliance with Grant Programs
Work with Grants Manager to fulfill grant program requirements by:
- Collecting information for potential grant program submissions, proposals, and agreements.
- Coordinating tasks and activities, writing reports, attending and conducting meetings.
- Tracking program performance and assisting with reporting to funding agencies.
- Verifying that the grant programs are in compliance with established administrative and financial policies, procedures, and sound business practices throughout the grant cycle.
- Integrating grant programs into organizational workflows.
- Maintaining grant files and documentation for internal and audit purposes.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, social work, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of two years of program planning and management experience in a clinical or public health setting required. Experience working with and engaging the uninsured and underserved populations, enrollment and eligibility experience preferred.
Certificates and Licenses: Community Health Worker (“CHW”) Certificate preferred.
