Position: Marketing – China Location: Shanghai, China

An extraordinary opportunity for a talented and experienced executive to build a business from the ground up through Authentic Brands Group’s 50 plus brands.

Authentic Brands Group is a brand development, marketing, and entertainment company which owns a global portfolio of entertainment and lifestyle brands. Since the company’s inception in 2010, we have acquired and established 50 brands that span active, fashion, luxe, street and celebrity sectors. Across the portfolio of these brands we manage nearly 900 partnerships worldwide to generate close to 9 Billion dollars in retail sales annually. We not only look to develop the stories of each brand but also expand our portfolio and delve deeper worldwide. Our team at ABG act as the driving force in order to accomplish such business growth and we continue to attract, retain, develop, and seek out world- class talent across all departments. We currently have six global offices (NYC, Toronto, Shanghai, Taiwan, Mexico City, London) with other openings soon (L.A) in order to best service our brands and our company’s continual global expansion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. In conjunction with Marketing team to set overall brand strategy and marketing plans and annual revenue targets

  2. Oversee the direction, implementation, and execution of brand and marketing initiatives in support of the brand vision and business goals

  3. Utilize the full marketing mix for brand marketing plans

  4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on ongoing brand development and provide direction and support to facilitate growth

  5. Lead strategic and tactical brand marketing meetings with internal partners and key licensees to facilitate a joint activation plans with deliverables, timeline and accountability

  6. Identify ongoing research needs by brand; make recommendations, manage research projects, present findings to key stakeholders

  7. Manage marketing budgets; drive efficiencies and metrics associated with spend and return

  8. Partner on brand strategy discussions and planning; identify target consumer and retail audiences; determine tiering needs; analyze consumer trends and market data, identify brand growth opportunities.

  9. Lead the charge on consistent brand messaging across all consumer touch points

  10. Spearhead Brand Summits to communicate brand message to external partners

Position Requirements:

  1. Experience in brand marketing and management

  2. Proven track record in creating and executing strategic brand and marketing campaigns

  3. Strong understanding of digital and social media marketing

  4. Strong analytical and research skills

  5. Excellent verbal communication, written communication and presentation skills in English

  6. Must exhibit excellent attention to detail and good organizational andfollow-through skills.

  7. Must have strong computer proficiency with strength in MS Office. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
