Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Marketing, the SVP Marketing, Street & Active is responsible for spearheading all brand marketing efforts directly supporting key brands within ABG’s portfolio of Street & Active brands. The SVP Marketing is an influential leader who drives marketing innovation through collaboration and process. This role embraces strategic planning and execution, oversees brand building and stewardship, and drives breakthrough initiatives that move the needle. The SVP Marketing will collaborate with peer groups across functions including the Street & Active Business Unit, Digital, Social Media, Creative, Experience and PR to build and execute 360 Degree marketing programs.  The SVP Marketing is also responsible for developing relationships with global partners to develop the brands’ strategic vision in key markets and drive marketing campaigns that extend from the annual brand plan.  The SVP Marketing will oversee and mentor a team of direct reports and will liaise regularly with internal and external partners to assure that marketing plans are on budget, goals are being met, and that they support revenue goals and brand initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with EVP Marketing set overall brand strategy and marketing plans tied to Street & Active brand goals and annual revenue targets
  • Oversee the direction, implementation, and execution of brand and marketing initiatives in support of the brand vision and business goals for Street & Active brands
  • Utilize the full marketing mix for brand marketing plans 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on ongoing brand development and provide direction and support to facilitate growth
  • Lead strategic and tactical brand marketing meetings with internal partners and key licensees to facilitate a joint activation plans with deliverables, timeline and accountability
  • Identify ongoing research needs by brand; make recommendations, manage research projects, present findings to key stakeholders 
  • Manage Street & Active marketing budgets; drive efficiencies and metrics associated with spend and return 
  • Manage direct reports; mentor, provide oversight and clear direction
  • Partner on brand strategy discussions and planning; identify target consumer and retail audiences; determine tiering needs; analyzeconsumer trends and market data, identify brand growth opportunities.
  • Lead the charge on consistent brand messaging across all consumer touch points
  • Spearhead Brand Summits to communicate brand message to external partners
