Reporting directly to the Senior Directors of Licensing, the Licensing coordinator is responsible for maintaining brand integrity and managing and coordinating product development between global licensees. The Licensing Coordinator will work with the Brand Leader to partner closely with licensees and help support overall strategic vision. Must be exceptionally well versed in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point, with the ability to multi task.  Must possess great organizational skills, communication skills, and have the ability to manage cross-functional team projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure understanding of each of the respective brand strategies; supporting the brand vision, brand position and brand architecture 
  • Partnering with product development team to recap summaries of licensee’s meetings to ensure direction, implementation, execution and continuous improvement of the licensing processes.
  • Follow up to ensure execution is followed through.
  • Develop and monitor seasonal development calendar for all Licensed Partners – establish time & action process
  • Schedule all product appointment with licensees in order to maintain calendar.
  • Maintains brand integrity across product lines and all other internal and external communication as it pertains to assigned brand
  • Assist in coordinating Brand Summits to communicate brand message to external partners
  • Assist in ensuring all licensees adhere to brand guidelines and making sure they are updated as necessary
  • Manage distribution approval process from initiation to completion
  • Compile all relevant information/materials to the shared drive and binders
  • Download seasonal assets (prints, colors, swatches) – distribute to Licensees
  • Showroom & sample coordination
  • Partner with design/merchandising team to compile relevant seasonal trend analysis decks per category
  • Develop resource library of competitive analysis by category
  • Liaise to receive weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports from licensees.
  • Request and prepare weekly/monthly sales and product best seller analysis from all licensees and distribute internally.

Position Requirements:

Relevant internship experience a plus.

  1. Understanding of competitive landscapes. 
  2. History/Understanding of the product development process.
  3. History/Understanding of how licensing deals are identified and negotiated.  
  4. Strong analytical and research skills.
  5. Excellent verbal communication, written communication and presentation skills.
  6. Must exhibit excellent attention to detail and good organizational and follow-through skills.
  7. Must have strong computer proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  8. Bachelor's degree required.
