Reporting directly to the VP of Digital Innovation, the Sr. Director of Social Media & Digital Strategy is responsible for the development and execution of digital strategy for various brands in ABG’s portfolio, including Thalia, Shaquille O’Neal, Elvis Presley, and other brands within the Active, Home, Health & Wellness and Lifestyle pillars. The Sr. Director of Social Media & Digital Strategy is responsible for the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content in conjunction with the Creative Director of Content. In addition to content duties, the Sr. Director of Social Media & Digital Strategy interfaces with brand partners and licensees in order to craft and execute digital marketing plans for all brand stakeholders. This role is also responsible for providing in-depth analysis of content and campaign performance and tracking the development of the brands across the social and digital space. Creating department processes, identifying brand synergies and assisting the business development and brand teams are also core functions to the Sr. Director role.   

General Responsibilities: 

  • Drive social media strategies across various brands in ABG’s portfolio 
  • Work with the Creative Director of Content to develop the aesthetic direction for content on brand channels 
  • Create and distribute content including imagery, videos and editorial across all social media platforms 
  • Track analytics for brands’ online presence including follower growth, sentiment, engagement and impressions 
  • Review and provide recaps and campaign summaries to key brand stakeholders 
  • Engage with existing fans 
  • Grow the fan bases for brands across social media 
  • Manage influencer marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, sales, and other various marketing goals 
  • Develop and maintain calendar of key dates for brands 
  • Draft verbiage for social media channels 
  • Interface with key brand partners and collaborators on social campaigns 
  • Create and execute social media contests 
  • Explore new and emerging social platforms and digital opportunities 
  • Promote content through social/digital advertising 
  • Oversee the implementation of best practices and strategies across all brands within the portfolio 
  • Oversee the organization and execution of photoshoots, campaigns, and other activations by the team across the portfolio
