Reporting directly to the SVP of Business Development, the Manager will be responsible for partner outreach and driving new business to meet overall business development objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for generating leads, and executing new licensing deals.
- Responsible for partner outreach, and sales
- Assist with business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy
- Assist with revenue generation and review opportunities for business development across multiple channels
- Maintaining the knowledge necessary to make sales.
- Achieving sales quotas.
- Identifying target customers.
- Identifying key decision makers.
- Having meetings with potential clients to analyze their needs and present appropriate solutions.
- Negotiating license contracts.
- Market Research and Analysis on Business Development Initiatives
- Compiling lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
- Organizing brand materials to implement on business pitches and other initiatives
- Create & manage documents and presentations in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Assist in the coordination and organization of the business development team
- Analyze and track key business development data
Skills & Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in finance, business development, retail, or licensing. Finance and retail experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required. Legal experience is a plus
- Retail and manufacturing relationships is a plus
- Must have a relentless drive to succeed, win business and close deals. Persistence is key.
- Must exhibit excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively & efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be highly motivated and able to multi-task
- Relevant internships or past experiences
