Reporting directly to the SVP of Business Development, the Manager will be responsible for partner outreach and driving new business to meet overall business development objectives.     

Primary Responsibilities: 

  1. Responsible for generating leads, and executing new licensing deals. 
  2. Responsible for partner outreach, and sales 
  3. Assist with business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy 
  4. Assist with revenue generation and review opportunities for business development across multiple channels 
  5. Maintaining the knowledge necessary to make sales. 
  6. Achieving sales quotas. 
  7. Identifying target customers. 
  8. Identifying key decision makers. 
  9. Having meetings with potential clients to analyze their needs and present appropriate solutions. 
  10. Negotiating license contracts. 
  11. Market Research and Analysis on Business Development Initiatives 
  12. Compiling lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads. 
  13. Organizing brand materials to implement on business pitches and other initiatives 
  14. Create & manage documents and presentations in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint. 
  15. Assist in the coordination and organization of the business development team 
  16. Analyze and track key business development data   

Skills & Requirements: 

  1. At least 2-3 years of experience in finance, business development, retail, or licensing. Finance and retail experience preferred. 
  2. Bachelor's degree required. Legal experience is a plus 
  3. Retail and manufacturing relationships is a plus 
  4. Must have a relentless drive to succeed, win business and close deals. Persistence is key. 
  5. Must exhibit excellent attention to detail 
  6. Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills 
  7. Ability to operate effectively & efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
  8. Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability 
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint 
  10. Strong organizational skills 
  11. Must be highly motivated and able to multi-task 
  12. Relevant internships or past experiences
