Position Summary: Work with Chief Human Resource Officer and HR team to ensure ideal culture, compliance and goals are achieved. Lead HR for entire employee lifecycle for production employees who work in the Brewery. Ensure Health-Ade’s vision, mission and values are achieved, while helping build the HR infrastructure.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Foster open communication with all plant employees
  • Ensure HR compliance
  • Participate in all major plant initiatives and decisions
  • Uphold practices that support an ideal culture
  • Ensure fair and consistent performance expectations and accountability
  • Help us develop a world-class career pathing program that connects performance, learning and career opportunity
  • Develop and oversee practices to recognize, reward and appreciate employees
  • Guide activities to promote inclusion, engagement and continuous improvement
  • Work with Recruiter to ensure ideal candidates are hired in timely basis
  • Oversee succession planning, mentoring and training within the plant
  • Communicate and ensure compliance with benefit programs (health and life insurance, leave of absence, vacation/holidays, 401K, educational assistance, Employee Assistance Program).
  • Oversee all safety endeavors
  • Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and Health-Ade requirements
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of plant procedures and policies
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development or organizational psychology or other business-related field
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desired Previous Job Experience:

  • Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification
  • 10+ years human resources experience in food manufacturing
  • Work experience in human resources at a manufacturing plant
