Job Description:

In this role you will have the opportunity to grow your software engineering skills as part of our energetic and expanding team, and directly support research and development efforts aimed at providing innovative software development support services to produce and deliver software for the Aviation Logistics Environment (ALE) product line.  We are seeking multiple engineers to complete our team that perform the full range of design and deployment activities.  We expect this software engineer to bring big ideas and energy to the team.  Must be a nimble self-starter who is excited about technology and web applications and has the ability to think outside of the box and suggest powerful novel ideas.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• B.S. in an engineering field (Computer, Software, Math, Physics, Electrical, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in software development to include:
• Understanding of web development protocols & tools
• Familiarity with the Agile software development process and GIT
• U.S. Citizen (ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance)

In addition to the Required Skills, we feel you would be a great fit if you have some of the following:

• Web Front End Experience - Experience in Java, creating user interfaces with modern web technologies (HTML 5, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular/AngularJS, React, etc.), and developing RESTful web service endpoints, or,
• Web Back End Experience - Experience in developing RESTful web service endpoints using Java or other technologies, or,
• Cloud Services - Experience in cloud design and software development. Experience in designing and implementing scalable data architecture in the cloud (AWS GovCloud or Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Active US Secret Clearance
