Our worldwide network has brought thousands of young people from around the world to experience American education and build international connections. The Business Analyst will report to BI Manager. This role will support the Business Intelligence team's efforts in increasing the visibility and efficiency of BI work. It will also support BI team and IT software team and work seamlessly with a wide range of departments within the Cambridge Network companies. This position requires a mix of skills that includes business analysis and systems operations support. The candidate will provide guidance and direction to business units on solutions and work with IT staffs to ensure appropriate solutions are delivered. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with a wide range of departments, collect requirement, conduct stakeholder interviews, analyze recruitment sales progress, generate sales report on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis, etc.
•  Daily data quality check-up and cleaning on Jasper report system and reports validation; communicate needs from BI team and other key business units with IT and ensure its realization; able to generate ad-hoc view on Jasper and assign access
• Support KPI project through working with BI team members; Research, define, benchmark and track the measures of success for the teams (including sales team, program management, business development, etc) and automate the reporting and updating dashboard
• Identify business problems, propose and define business solutions to address the problems, and describe solutions to a diverse range of operations problems, which require creativity and innovation within broadly defined policies and practices
• Conduct root cause analysis of system problems on Jasper, Harmony and Salesforce, provide functional direction to the operations and projects
• Design, develop and implement new reporting metrics and modify existing metrics in collaboration with business partners

Required Qualifications

•  A master’s degree, preferably in statistics, math, computer science, business, or social science with a research component, or other discipline requiring coursework in quantitative analysis.
•  Two to five years of experience in data analysis, business analysis or another relevant field.
•  Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, MySQL, Tableau, Jaspersoft, and with the ability to learn new softwares
•  Demonstrated proficiency in: Requirement gathering, Requirements Analysis, Stakeholder Interviews, workflow Analysis, Process Modeling and Creating audience specific reports
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within a fast-paced environment
• Able to work successfully with cross-functional team
• Self-starter who has the ability to create and lead new initiatives; Ability to work independently, exhibit efficiency, collaboration, candor, openness, and be results-oriented
•  Fluent in both Chinese and English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong skills in critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (e.g., partnering, conflict management, consulting, etc)
• Knowledge and passion for education industry, especially international education.
