We're recruiting for an eCommerce Product Manager for eCommerce as a full-time job in Jacksonville, FL.

Reporting to the Director of eCommerce Product Management & User Experience, the eCommerce Product Manager is responsible for creating and implementing business strategy across our web platform, channels and brands. Focus of work includes aligning closely with executive stakeholders and internal partners to improve our competitive positioning, technical vision and implementation and rollout of website product improvements.

The ideal candidate is a customer-oriented person with strong product management experience, great project management and communication skills, and with a strong technical understanding. This position is highly cross-functional working closely with IT, Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, 3rd Party Vendors and Executive Leadership.


MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 50%- Ecommerce Product Management
  • 25%- Retail Commerce and Roadmap Strategy
  • 25%- Digital Marketing

NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to Director, Product Management. No direct reports.
TRAVEL: 
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 years

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strongly competent in eCommerce product planning
  • Driven by results and metrics. Able to link strategy to business impact.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally a team of technical resources and business people to create pristine product enhancements
  • Flexible in the face of obstacles and able to solve complex problems creatively
  • Able to sell changes internally and be a product evangelist
  • Confidence to dive in and learn new solutions and processes without a lot of assistance
  • Ability to cope with a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to see the end goal and have persistence and creativity to navigate complexity
  • Solid technical and competitive landscape knowledge
  • Principal Accountabilities & Authority:
  • Relentlessly drive for continual website product improvements delivering results that exceed quality expectations and business results
  • Responsible for creating a strategic analysis document, including:
  • Overview of what’s happening in the market – benchmarking, competitive analysis
  • Impactful technology trends
  • In-house capabilities
  • Internal project, technology, and resource constraints
  • High level plan for the year
  • Defining KPIs and other measurable goals for their capability
  • Responsible for ongoing communication of the roadmap and performance against it via:
  • Published up-to-date calendars
  • Product launch blogs
  • Technical notes and training for internal (customer service/sales) and external (customers) constituents
  • Quarterly executive updates
  • Contributing member of the eCommerce Product team that will provide:
  • Visionary Roadmap, showing the future state of the capability
  • Product Roadmaps, setting expectations for the product team by quarter
  • Prioritization Matrix, establishing clear priorities for each product capability

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILIITES AND COMPETENCIES:

  • This is a senior level/managerial level role
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.S.), or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 4 years experience as an eCommerce Product Manager or related position
  • Strong history of successful implementations
  • Solid understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Strong understanding of usability best practices, information architecture principles and A/B/MVT testing
  • Prefer experience in multi-channel or online retail
  • Familiarity with retail ecommerce best practices and web site merchandising preferred
  • Solid knowledge of customer facing ecommerce technologies landscape preferred
  • Enthusiasm, creativity and desire to work in an innovative team that is the strategic focus of overall company growth
  • Knowledge of Site Catalyst, Endeca and/or Test & Target a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work across various cultural dynamics and develop effective working relationships with colleagues and clients across different geographies.
