The account coordinators execute the majority of client marketing tactics, provide administrative support, and assist with campaign reporting for account managers. They drive the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives to attract potential customers and retain existing ones for the agency’s clients.

This requires maintaining a high level of awareness of client activities, detail-oriented program and project management, and professional communication with key client contacts as needed.

This is a highly varied job, which means we need people who are great at a wide range of tasks, and you’ll need to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks. Account coordinator’s regular to do list includes:

  • Preparing account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, meeting reports, performance reports, and other client communications and correspondence.
  • Participating in and documenting discussions during client meetings and conference calls.
  • Reviewing vendor quotes.
  • Verifying production timelines with subcontractors/vendors.
  • Proofreading and editing content.
  • Fielding and processing information requests from clients.
  • Sending client email blast.
  • Posting for social media accounts.
  • Posting blogs.
  • Conducting client and customer research.
  • Managing Adwords campaigns.
  • Making minor updates to Wordpress sites.
  • Maintaining current work-in-progress records and archives of past project information in Mavenlink and google drive.

Account coordinators will proactively communicate with clients on a daily basis in a professional, efficient manner. They are expected to know their clients business and their industry as well as they do. Attending to the needs of the client and continually seeking ways to add value to the client-agency relationship.
