Your Role with the Company:

You’ll report directly to the VP of Civil Operations. You will develop complete and accurate estimates for the companies growing excavating division. You’ll analyze drawings, specifications and proposals to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects. You will also be responsibilities for performing takeoffs, solicit subcontractors and vendor quotes, lead subcontractor meetings to develop scopes and discuss project strategy, perform risk and contract management as required on bids, monitor comparison of estimated costs to actual costs of each project, and site visits to observe challenging conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and relationship-building skills as well as be highly organized.

Background Profile

• 3+ years of experience in civil estimating
• Background using estimating software programs
• Exposure to excavating or site-work helpful
