Key Responsibility: Military Standard Technical Writing establishes uniform engineering and technical requirements for military-unique or substantially modified commercial processes, procedures, practices, and methods. The entry-level candidate will be trained and orientated to provide editorial and quality assurance for technical manuals, identification guides, specifications, technical reports, training materials, and other technical documentations in accordance with applicable government specifications. The selected entry-level candidate should be fluent in the English language and able to work independently or in groups to complete assigned projects. The entry-level candidate will be eager to learn about systems they support, performing independent research when they encounter job-relevant concepts they do not understand

Upon Successful Completion the Candidate will meet Specific Requirements:
• Will become accustomed to DoD technical writing requirements and have knowledge of applicable military standard, specifications and test practices.
• Will be able to code WorkPackage with XML.
• Comfortable with frequent interaction with site government and contractor personnel as it pertains to the development of technical documentation including user manuals, test plans and/or system training materials and technology description documents.
• Able to develop quality documentation for its intended audience.
• Able to grasp technical concepts and translate into easily understandable documents.
