We are looking for Special Education (SETSS) Providers for multiple cases in the Bronx grades K - 12th grade. Most of the cases are after school or can also be done over the weekend. 

Positions - Upper East Side

• IMMEDIATE - June 2019 ..... 2nd grade, 5x/wk@3hrs/day max - Home Services, 
• IMMEDIATE - June 2019 ..... 4th grade, 5x/wk@3hrs/day max - Home Service
• IMMEDIATE - June 2019 ..... 8th grade, 5x/wk@3hrs/day max - Home Service

Responsibilities:

• Design, assess and evaluate student progress in achieving IEP goals.
• The ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
• Passion and commitment to teaching scholars in underserved areas and to closing the achievement gap 
• Relentless drive to set and achieve ambitious goals
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Spanish
• Must have one of the following:
  • NY State Transitional-B/Initial/Professional/Permanent Students with Disabilities Certification (K-12) or (7-12)
    ***NO OTHER CERTIFICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED***
• ​No DOE employees.  Former DOE employees must be out of the system for on year to be considered.
