Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the management reporting and analysis for the FP&A team.  This position will assist with budgeting, forecasting and business analytics.  The analyst will be the right-hand person to FP&A director supporting the analytical needs across the organization with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Production and Finance.   

Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepares management financial results and key performance indicator reports

• Assists with the preparation of 12-month rolling forecasts and accrual management, including balance sheet and cash flow projection.

• Analyzes actual results of operational performance and highlight variance to budget.

• Performs a variety of analyses to determine the impact of management decisions on the financial health of the company.

• Supports sales in building the sales forecast as well as analyzing a variety of channel sales information, customer scans data, and distributor reports. Determines the impact of promotions, price changes, and new region growth rates.

• Maintains and tests financial model assumptions to better estimate the financial impacts of different management decisions.

• Assists in the development of the new ERP system’s tool set to compile and retrieve data for analyses and develop of data management.  Train managers and other users on how to use the ERP system.

• Assists in develop in development of Board of Directors packaging presentation

 Administrative Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing and potentially building data management and retrieval systems

• Ideal experience with using Domo, CPGToolbox, SQL server experience   

• Help drive forecasting model for sales and expenses; must be able to manage large volume of data

• Manages dashboards, summarizing key information, and identifying trends

• Develops and maintains new reporting and process

• Contributes to team effort by handling ad hoc projects along with day-to-day activities.
