We are looking for a Special Education Teacher (SETSS) for this school year 2017-2018 . Please find the list of Jobs we have are currently working on
a) A High School In Queens, Ridgewood area, is looking for a SETSS provider. 8 students needed in group sessions for 10 sessions. Students can be grouped together. Classes start at 8:25 through 1:05 on Mondays and 8:33 through 2:29 Tuesdays through Fridays
b) A school in East Elmhurst is looking for a provider for grades K,2 and 4th grade. 3-5 sessions per week. The students can be grouped. The school is flexible to work with the provider's schedule
c) Two High school students is need of a Bilingual Spanish SETSS provider, In long island city . session 5 times per week.
A public in the Brooklyn is need of a SETSS provider! Responsibilities: • Design, assess and evaluate student progress in achieving IEP goals. • The ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged • Passion and commitment to teaching scholars in underserved areas and to closing the achievement gap • Relentless drive to set and achieve ambitious goals • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills • Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice.
