Our team members grow and develop skills together while providing a high-quality, well-rounded patient experience.The Director of Sales is responsible for the strategic direction and the achievement of sales goals and key objectives for the Ardon sales team. We are seeking an experienced, innovative and accomplished leader to advance our mission to inspire people and improve lives. Ardon fosters a culture of knowledge sharing and promotes industry engagement and leadership to continually develop and nurture talent while elevating the practice of specialty pharmacy.

 

Primary functions:

  1. In collaboration with executive leadership, establishes sales goals.
  2. Develops and implements a strategic national business plan to achieve goals.
  3. Identifies, prioritizes, and implements activities to accomplish goals.
  4. Researches and identifies sales targets to achieve goals.
  5. Interfaces with consultants, brokers, employers, and other health care partners to identify opportunities to obtain business goals.
  6. Monitors competitors and sales trends to develop sales plans.
  7. Analyzes input from various sources to create new initiatives.
  8. Develops appropriate business plans for new initiatives addressing market entry strategy, financial analysis and projected costs, timelines and necessary resources.
  9. Probes for customer information and barrier resolution.
  10. Recruits, interviews, hires, trains, and develops top sales talent to achieve business goals.
  11. Collaborates with pharmacy operations team to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
  12. Analyzes and summarizes market trends to identify emerging business goals.
  13. Routinely communicates with centralized marketing team regarding resources, competitive activity, etc.
  14. Effectively manages and forecasts budget.
  15. Implements and maintains an accurate record of all sales activities and goal achievements.
  16. Provides leadership, and/or participates as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the completion of Requests For Information (RFI) and Requests For Proposals. 
  17. Represents the company at relevant conferences and expositions as determined by leadership.
  18. Works with all stakeholders to establish service expectations.
  19. Actively participates and provides support as needed to leadership and quality program staff to ensure activities related to the company’s quality management program and quality improvement activities maintain priority focus and are effectively executed. This may include but is not limited to activities that promote objective and systematic measurement, monitoring, and evaluation of services and defined Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) that may result from such efforts.
  20. Complies with the company’s Human Resources policies, Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and all department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company, employee, and customer information; attending work punctually and regularly; and adhering to good safety practices in all activities.
  21. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
