An excellent, full time opportunity to join a New Jersey medical center looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist for their Emergency Department. This individual with be responsible for the development of the ED nursing staff in collaboration with the educational coordinator. They will play a leadership role and will serve as a role model and consultant to the nursing staff and as well as be involved in direct and indirect patient care.

Requirements:

• A master’s degree in nursing
• At least 5 years of emergency care nursing experience
• Prior teaching or education background a big plus
• Current New Jersey clinical nurse specialist license
• Prior experience in the care of ER and critical care patients including use of life sustaining equipment.
• A critical thinker with excellent communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in assessing patient and family nursing needs
• Ability to coordinate with the development and implementation of continuing education programs for nursing.
