We are currently looking for Monolingual or Bilingual Speech Therapists who are willing to pick up evaluations in any of the Bronx Districts.
Responsibilities
Assess students' communication skills to identify communication disorders, determine program eligibility and developing recommendations for treatment.
Collaborate with individuals and groups (Parents, teachers, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information, and providing services in compliance with established guidelines.
Coordinate meetings for eligible students, for the purpose of presenting IEPs, testing/screening, parent conferences.
Develop treatment plans for students in compliance with regulatory requirements.Requirements /Certifications
NYS Certification: TSSLD
NYS SLP License and Registration
Must be fingerprinted by the DOE
Experience teaching and evaluating students' speech and language skills
