Requirements:
- Provide instruction to groups of 1-5 students in school setting
- Passion and commitment to teaching students with special needs
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Build a motivating and inclusive environment where students thrive
- Participate in the development, tracking, and implementation of IEP goals
- Create accurate records to submit to DOE
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education
- Must have one of the following:
- NY State Transitional-B/Initial/Professional/Permanent Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6), (Grades 5-9), (Grades 7-12) or (Grades K-12) Certification
***NO OTHER CERTIFICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED***
