Employee Relations Specialist, Food Production, Brecksville

The Employee Relations Generalist partners with managers and employees at various levels to provide HR support and solutions for four manufacturing sites as well as our Corporate headquarters.

Specific areas of influence include employee relations, training and development, safety, compliance, and special projects. Interfaces with plant and department management in assuring the delivery of all Human Resources initiatives. Will also provide administrative support for HR and general office as needed.

Key Accountabilities

·       Employee Relations/Performance Management – Consult/coach managers as they handle performance issues and talent development needs.  Management of Employee Relations issues, conduct investigations and recommend solutions.

·       Support HR leadership team – HR research, project support, reporting/analytics, and champion HR initiatives.

·       Training – HR orientation and facilitate other training sessions as needed.

Position Requirements

·       Bachelors in HR, Business Admin, Behavioral Sciences, Org Development,  or applicable HR Certification + experience will be considered.

·       3-5 years of generalist experience in a manufacturing environment

·       Experience in manufacturing, operations, and/or distribution centers.

·       Experience must include ER, performance management, and training and development.

·       Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, ATS).  Experience with UKG/UltiPro or Workday preferred.

·       Strong organizational skills.

·       Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively with all levels of employees.

·       Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

·       Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees.

·       Skills: Knowledge and application of current HR trends, best practices and compliance issues.

Position requires working onsite in Brecksville, Ohio
