We are searching for a new member of the Meijer family! As we grow, we’re seeking an entry-level team member to join us as a Gas Station Express Clerk who is able to complete a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising. You will also collaborate with other team members and managers on additional tasks as needed. Are you a people person? Do you want to have a positive impact on your community? What will you be doing?

• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including pumps, countertops, and restrooms.
• Monitor fuel pumps and promptly address any technical issues or customer concerns.
• Restock shelves with snacks, beverages, and other convenience store items to ensure product availability.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including balancing the cash drawer at the end of shifts.
• Process fuel and merchandise transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Verify customer identification for restricted items, such as tobacco or alcohol, following applicable laws.
• Perform regular inspections of pumps and store facilities to ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
• Assist with promotional displays and ensure accurate signage for sales and fuel prices.
• Maintain security by monitoring activity around the station and promptly reporting suspicious behavior.
