Position Summary
​​​​Moda Health is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to guide our product owners in implementing robust and scalable solutions using cost effective and efficient tools and techniques. 
This position is currently full-time. Must have strong internet capabilities!


Pay Range
$108,578.71 - $141,178.82 ​​​annually (depending on experience)

Required Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role on full-lifecycle Salesforce implementations.
  • Platform Development, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Application Builder Certified
  • 2+ years of experience as Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Integration Lead for implementations including SFDC and at least four integration endpoints.
  • 4+ years of expertise in architecting solutions applying the following technology domains: Message-oriented middleware, Service integration, ETL, Integration adapters, Single sign-on, Secure web services, Integration of public cloud technology platform, Platform Events / CDC
  • 2+ years of experience with core Salesforce capabilities including Apex, LwC/Aura, Flows, OMNI Studio
  • 4+ years of experience designing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions in client-facing position
  • Knowledge in application development, SQL, Java, XML, REST APIs are a plus
  • Knowledge or certifications on Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant Platform Developer
  • Experience working with Scrum or other Agile processes
  • Experience factoring Salesforce limits into an enterprise architecture
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of all Salesforce product offerings
  • Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution
  • Strong understanding of architectural design patterns including REST, Micro-Services, object-oriented design patterns, and common integration patterns
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and technology leadership skills; able to collaborate well with technical and non-technical team members
  • Able to adapt comfortably with changes in priorities
  • Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.
  • Ability to come into work on time and daily.


Primary Functions:

  • Drives technical design and development for major components of focused solutions.
  • Offers best practice advice and recommendations to clients often extending beyond Salesforce to topics around overall systems architecture and CRM strategy.
  • Engages with Enterprise Architects regarding technical architecture and details of Salesforce and integration/migration.
  • Leads technical requirements gathering and/or design workshops for complex projects.
  • Provides overall Salesforce technical expertise.
  • Provides overall systems architecture expertise in order to relate to and build upon existing client environments.
  • Architects creative solutions that solve our business and technical needs.
  • Leads and facilitates project discovery to define business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Defines business processes using CRM & SFDC best practices.
  • Develops data integration, migration, and deployment strategies.
  • Builds & Deploys Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead Proof of Concepts and technical solutioning.
  • Manages and mentors junior team members.
  • Works with clients to understand their needs, provide meaningful solutions and build strong relationships.
Working Conditions & Contact with Others
  • Office environment with extensive close PC and keyboard work, constant sitting, and phone work. Must be able to navigate multiple screens. Work in excess of 40 hours per week, including evenings and occasional weekends, to meet business need.
  • Internally with project managers, members of project teams, technical leadership and staff.  Externally with software support and vendors.
