• Key player in the European semiconductor automotive sales team to provide technical support to our global and regional major customers
• Full responsibility to achieve design wins with our target customers
• Providing technical expertise in the various design-in activities and supporting our customers in their projects
• Work closely with key account managers and our business units on project identification and offers to our customers
• Qualification of sales opportunities with regard to the customer's technical requirements and positive positioning of company's products compared to the competition
• Synthesizing customer and competitive insights to support product and roadmap definition across our business units
• Build successful relationships with sales team members, business units, partners and customers to support the sales team's goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in physics, electrical engineering or a comparable natural or applied science course
• Several years of experience as a field application engineer in the semiconductor or opto-semiconductor industry; experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
• Experience with analog or mixed-signal circuit design and/or experience with optoelectronic components and design is an advantage
• Communicative and team-oriented personality with an independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working, as well as the ability to present and communicate technical issues well
• Flexible; Easily adapts to plans as circumstances change
• Willingness to travel (around 50%)
• Very good knowledge of German and English
