Summary:
Conexess Group is aiding a large manufacturing and retail client in their search for a Senior IT Project Manager. As a 1 in 3 supplier globally, our client’s corporate headquarters is located in Nashville, TN, and supported by regional headquarters/sales offices in multiple areas, reach consumers in more than 180 countries. This is a hybrid role and will require employees to come to the office 2-3 days a week.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Reporting to the Global Director, Enterprise Applications; the Project Manager will provide day-to-day project management support for a global portfolio of projects and initiatives covering Global ERP, Global Web, Global Data, Retail Support, APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North America. The incumbent will partner closely with several key global business functions including: Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, & Operations related to new and ongoing initiatives & projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a global portfolio of projects and initiatives, as assigned
- Organize planning of new initiatives and projects, assuring documentation of key milestones and cross functional dependencies and prerequisites
- Identify key stakeholders and participants for each project and initiative and document related communication processes
- Partner closely with business systems analysis to ensure proper identification & tracking of key requirements, workstreams & testing processes
- Partner closely with 3rd party providers to ensure timely execution against assigned tasks
- Track progression through 9 delivery gates of Request, Proceed or Cancel, Assign to Backlog/Effort/Project/Release/Sprint, Add to Global Project List, Design / Develop, Unit Test / Regression Test, User Acceptance Test, Promote to Production, Quality Check / Close\Communicate need for and coordination of cross functional work on projects and initiatives
- Identify risks and lead risk mitigation efforts
- Publish project statuses and lead periodic project status meetings
- Escalate impediments to continued project progress with Management
- Initiate and participate in continuous improvements (and related metrics) towards optimization of time, cost, and quality on projects and initiatives

Education/Experience:
- A Bachelor degree is required
- A Masters Degree or MBA is desirable
- Relevant certifications (PMP, etc) are desirable
- Prior experience working in a matrixed & highly collaborative team is required
- Prior experience with various delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid, etc) is required
- 5+ years of relevant project management experience
