Conexess Group is aiding a client in their search for an IT Director to work in a hybrid capacity in Pleasant View, TN. This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive compensation package. 
  • Directs, plans and schedules the development, production, and administrative processing of the organization's IT operations
  • Assigns, delegates, scheduled and reviews work preformed by IT partners, IT vendors and internal staff as needed
  • Ensures rapid, accurate, and efficient processing of Company's workload through the use of technology systems.
  • Ensures security of Company systems and data.
  • Recommends insights that contribute to overall company strategic management
  • Provides appropriate education and training for end-users.
  • Consults with Company leadership to determine IT requirements, priorities of new projects, system capacity, equipment acquisitions, and recurring technology spend; prepares progress reports to inform management of project status and deviation from goals.
  • Confers with department heads involved with proposed projects to ensure cooperation and further define nature of project.
  • Reviews project feasibility studies.
  • Establishes IT SLAs and OLAs that align to operational needs.
  • Contracts with management specialists, technical personnel, or vendors to solve problems.
  • Analyzes IT department workflow recommend restructuring or departmental realignment.
  • Participates in decisions concerning staffing within IT department.
  • Directs training of subordinates.
  • Keeps current on new developments in information technology, and plans for future upgrades and changes.
  • May prepare proposals and solicit services from outside firms.
  • Diagnose and solve IT problems.
  • Project Management of technical projects.
Required Skills
  • 5 to 7+ years leading an IT team, strategic planning, and IT operations 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Has worked extensively with 3rd parties and outsourced IT vendors, including MSP oversight and collaboration
  • Application integration experience
  • Experience with integrating add-on acquisitions
  • System implementation experience
  • CRM experience- Salesforce preferred
  • ERP experience- Sage preferred
