You will report directly to the CEO, acting as the financial leader for the firm. You will oversee the accounting and finance operations and have a hands-on role in the timely & accurate submittal of consolidated monthly financials for multiple entities. You will manage 10+ accounting staff, in addition to oversight of the firm’s well-established IT, Safety, and HR departments. Additionally, you will directly handle bonding, banking, & insurance and benefit plan administration. You’ll become deeply embedded in relationships with the firm’s board of directors, plan trustees, and outside audit and valuation firms. Finally, you will manage the firm’s annual audit, oversee preparation of regulatory filings and certifications, and work with the senior management team on various strategic initiatives, including potential acquisitions.
Background Profile:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- 8+ years’ experience
- Background in construction and percentage completion accounting
- Exposure to process improvement and robust ERP systems
