Idea Recruitment has partnered with an engineered Pure & Simple solutions in Atlantic Beach, FL in their search for a Customer Service Representative.  Our client is the pioneer and international leader for Paperband Reel Turn-Up Systems

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
 
  • Receive and process customer inquiries, purchase orders and complaints via telephone or email.
  • Prepare shipping and exporting documentation for domestic and international shipments, such as commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, etc.
  • Package, examine and compare shipment contents against purchase order, picking ticket and packing lists to verify accuracy of documenting and outgoing shipments.
  • Determine technician availability and schedule service trips.
  • Develop and maintain quality relations with domestic and international customer accounts.
  • Maintain high level of communication with customers, field service technicians, sales representatives and organizational team.
  • Maintains updated customer accounts, organized files, and promptly make corrections and/or modifications as needed.
  • Traces and expedites late orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Trains new customer service representative as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Dynamics Great Plains, MS Outlook, MS Access, various freight forwarding web platforms to process shipments. Bills of ladings, etc.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specialized Training:
2-4 years of shipping experience, 1-2 years customer service experience, 1-2 years MS Office Suite experience.
