Liberty IT Solutions, a Booz Allen company, is one of the leading companies in modernizing health care systems for the Department of Veteran Affairs. We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our highly-collaborative Talent Acquisition team.

Summary: Technical Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, scheduling interviews and participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. Ultimately, you will create talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs.

Required Education: Bachelor’s in human resources management or relevant field

Required Years of Experience: 2 years, or 5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Talent Acquisition team, collaborate and coordinate with hiring managers to fill staffing needs for our Salesforce portfolio and other portfolios as needed
  • Source potential candidates through Salesforce communities, online research, our Applicant Tracking System (BrightMove), social platforms and professional networks
  • Conduct candidate screening calls
  • Attend job fairs and recruitment events (virtual and/or in-person)
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, preferably in the areas of Salesforce, Information Technology, Engineering and/or Government contracting.
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with full-lifecycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
  • A good understanding of the differences between various roles within a software development organization​​​​​

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly consultative with a professionally polished approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current network of clearance-eligible IT candidates, including Salesforce, MS Dynamics, etc.
  • Experience recruiting for Healthcare IT or federal clients
