MP2 Energy is hiring Director, National Sales Management to accelerate the growth of our business and to establish the processes and systems that will make us successful as we scale. This is a team leadership position that will be responsible for managing our sales team and will report to and work closely with the Head of Products Sales. In this role you will be focused on enabling your team with the tools, coaching and processes necessary to be successful in a fast-paced environment. MP2 Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Shell Oil Company and as such you will be responsible for working closely with the Shell Renewables and Sustainability (RES) support functions to ensure that the SEI sales team has the resources and materials required for success. Your team will be focused on complex seven figure transactions with C-level buyers that require creativity, problem solving and a complete command of the industry. You will leverage Strategic Product partnerships that will give capabilities and differentiation to our Shell Energy Inside product. You will simultaneously optimize our sales processes and enable our team while executing against immediate growth opportunities in our pipeline

• Grow, lead, and coach a team of experienced solution sales professionals that can bring a new, transformative product to
• Own the proposal process via internal MP2 tools and through collaboration with strategic partners
• Work across the Shell matrix to create connections with peers and strengthen collaboration
• Bring best practices in sales process and management to a rapidly growing organization
• Steer development of our CRM management process and become the “super user” of the system
• Optimize sales processes, go-to-market approaches, related policies, and procedures
• Work with senior leadership across the organization

• 7+ years of experience growing, leading, and coaching high performance sales teams in a B2B environment
• A strong track record of exceeding sales targets and other performance goals
• In depth knowledge of the energy industry, retail products and related component breakdown
• Experience in selling and working knowledge of energy related services (i.e., solar, onsite generation, demand response,
   energy efficiencies, etc.).
• Top tier communication skills and proficiency with CRM systems, presentation software and analytical tools
• Must be able to bring all energy and energy related services together in an impactful way in the pursuit and management
   of customers.
• Comprehensive understanding of business rules and operations
• Ability to multi-task, problem solve and articulate thoughts and concepts well
• Demonstrate ability to negotiate terms & conditions of energy and energy related services contracts
• Ability to think strategically as well as understand the practical, day-to-day implementation requirements for successful
• Conflict management and resolution

Advanced knowledge is required in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Advanced capabilities in Salesforce, Smart sheet’s and other CRM tools
Self-motivated and driven

Minimum 7-10 years of retail energy sales experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
