Moda Health, in partnership with The Dental Foundation of Oregon and The Oregon Dental Association is seeking a Dentist for our mobile clinic the “Tooth Taxi”. The focus of our mobile clinic is to provide underserved children with access to quality comprehensive dental care while providing a positive experience that includes oral health education.
This is a unique opportunity for a caring and energetic dentist to join our highly successful mobile dental clinic team. Based out of Portland the “Tooth Taxi ”is a fully equipped, state-of-the art mobile clinic that travels to different locations throughout the state of Oregon. We spend up to a week at a time at schools providing comprehensive dental care to school children (PK-12). This is a full-time year-round position. There are options for a Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday schedule. 1 week out of every month you will travel outside of our local area, requiring overnight stays. Travel cost and accommodations will be covered by the program. This position is open to experienced dentists or new grads and offers a competitive salary and benefits.
The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000, DOE.Please fill out an application on our company page, linked below, to be considered for this position.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:
-
Licensed Dentist within the State of Oregon with nitrous permit.

Ability to take own x-rays.

Maintain BLS certification
-
Strong patient management skills, with a commitment to working with children.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Computer proficiency with dental practice management software.

Must have strong decision-making skills, work with frequent interruptions and constantly shifting priorities. Flexibility is key.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.

Ability to travel to different clinic locations as needed, a valid Oregon driver’s license and must remain auto insurable.
