Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Network Engineer in a remote capacity.  This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Position Overview:

Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) Infrastructure matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Serves as the lead technical consultant responsible for design, engineering, and development of information technology solutions. Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving complex infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations, etc. May be involved in the creation of design specifications and the development and application of utility programs and may resolve escalated infrastructure compatibility problems as they arise.


  • Lead DNS, DHCP and IPAM (DDI) architecture and engineering efforts
  • Responsible for security, scalability, performance, availability and usability of the service
  • Assist with development and execution of architecture enhancements
  • Champion and facilitate DDI automation capabilities
  • Work and coordinate with key stakeholders
  • Be escalation point for technical support and troubleshooting efforts, periodic off-hours and on-call support is required

Desired Qualifications

  • Must have advanced knowledge of Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), DNSSec and BIND required
  • Demonstrated experience with engineering and support of large, global DNS deployments
  • Hands on experience with InfoBlox or other DDI services platform required
  • Experience with DNS on F5 Networks BigIP Global Traffic Manager (GTM)
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure or other public cloud
  • Ability to develop scripts with Python required
  • Experience using Ansible or other open-source configuration or orchestration products
  • Broad knowledge of networking, network hardware, technologies, TCP/IP, UDP, IPV4, IPV6, routing protocols, and security concepts
  • Ability to navigate and drive results in a matrix environment
