Description

Our client is looking for a Medical Assistant will work under the direction the direction of a 2 Physicians and a Physician Assistant in our office. As the Medical Assistant, you’ll be responsible for performing the following:

  • Assist with daily patient flow, X-Rays & Rooming, and Vitals
  • Takes appropriate action to maintain a safe and clean
  • Send Orders out per Providers
  • Performs X-rays
  • Communicates observations of patient’s status to physicians
  • Check medical records and follow up obtaining missing results prior to patient’s appointment
  • Take X-rays of Orthopedic & Spine patients
  • Obtain Imaging CD and Records
  • Participates in meetings of staff and department meetings

 

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent education required
  • 1 year in a clinical setting, previous hospital experience and/or physician office experience
  • Medical Assistant Certificate required
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Customer Service skills and training
  • Xray certification required
  • Strong Independent Worker, but also contributes to Teamwork
  • Caring, positive attitude a plus

 

Hours:

  • Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm
  • Friday 08:30 am - 3:00 pm
